encouraged to purchase them through legal websites or directly through stores,
considering its high efficiency rate and its capability to last for a lifetime.
Big brand companies have come forward with hybrid notions clubbing up various
lighting technologies that shoot up the power of individual components like HID
ballasts. Many features like retrofitting have encouraged the “money savers” to
convert their traditional halogens to HID bulbs.

Moving onto the cons, it has high price tags attached to it
which became the drawbacking feature and due to this reason, they are still not
being used by the public, in comparison to the halogen bulbs. What people
forget is that, HID bulbs and its counterparts are made with highly advanced
technologies and obviously the rate is going to be high!!
Another disadvantage to be mentioned in this regard is, when
people were encouraged to purchase HID bulbs and its wide usage was promoted;
the functionality of the HIDs turned to be a great disadvantage. The high
intensity bulbs producing lights were capable of blinding the drivers in the
opposite direction and soon, cases of accidents and severe injuries were
reported as a consequence of this. Many of the grand cities like New York
banned the usage of HID lights and colored HIDS like green HIDs and soon HID
manufacturing companies were at a loss. But soon the prevailing condition
changed with updating features on these bulbs and its counterparts. And what's
more!! Some of the clauses of the ban were lifted and HID kits again become the
new generation bulbs with modifications that changed the complete scenario.Even
now, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) does not
support the usage of the magic bulbs as it gives out an unnatural beam pattern;
giving a glaring effect.
Colored HIDs and its

Colors are surely going to attract the public and this
feature is being highlighted when colored HIDs came into existence. Launching
of 13 colored HIDs including icy white combinations to aqua blue and green
colors certainly became the reason for its enhanced usage. If aesthetic aspect

being enhanced with the introduction of HIDs with a slightly higher price tag
